the Studio
Studio ArCa is a design atelier founded in Lugano in 2019. Its design philosophy brings together technical precision and creative freedom. This is achieved through close collaboration with the people involved in the project and a continuous dialogue between the two design approaches.
The founder’s interdisciplinary educational background, combined with professional experience in both industrial design and architecture, has contributed to developing a broad and cross-disciplinary design vision. Each new project is therefore approached with an analytical and pragmatic mindset, guided by aesthetic sensitivity and attention to detail, yet free from rigid predefined schemes.
The ultimate goal of every project is always to achieve the right balance between form and function, while carefully considering key aspects such as economic, social, and environmental sustainability
of everything we conceive and realize. Client satisfaction always remains at the core of our work.

about me
My name is Armando. I am an interdisciplinary designer whose working method focuses on defining volumes and spaces as the result of a deep process of synthesis between form, function, and context.
Following my education as an architectural drafter, I completed the full cycle of studies in industrial design, obtaining a specialization in product design. My professional journey has allowed me to explore a variety of design fields, ranging from architecture to furniture design, and even automotive design. I also worked for several years at the renowned Studio Camponovo Architects & Associates. At the same time, I served in the Civil Protection as a specialist in the protection of cultural heritage.
In 2019, I founded Studio ArCa, which has since become my main professional activity. In parallel, starting in early 2024, I have been leading the technical office of Carnevale SA, the family business. Together with Daniela Rossi, in late 2026 we will launch ExMateria, our new furniture design brand.
